Transcript for Ask Me Anything: Elizabeth Olsen answers fan questions backstage at 'GMA'
- I am here to answer your questions from Ask Me Anything. And the first question is, "How fun is it to play the Scarlet Witch and be a baddie in Doctor Strange 2? I will never think of her as a baddie. I think she learns a lesson, but I think of her as she's just processing big emotions. [LAUGHS] "What can you tell us about the future of Wanda Maximoff?" Krk. I would love to know myself. So keep spreading rumors, and maybe they'll hire me again. "Which WandaVision sitcom era was your favorite to film?" I loved the '70s, the third episode, because I got to be a "schmactor." "How did your own experience with anxiety help you write Hattie Harmony?" I think a lot of the tools that Robbie and I instinctively wrote about were tools that we've had to use ourselves. I think I had to learn a bunch of tools as an adult because I dealt with a lot of weird panic attacks in my early 20s that really threw me off, and I didn't understand what was happening. And so mindful movement and mindful breathing were very important and useful. "We need a garden update!" OK. "How has gardening been going? We love seeing it on Instagram." I've been working more than I've been gardening recently. So sadly, that means the garden doesn't get tended to because I usually have to live other places when I'm working. But right now, it is flourishing. And I really need to be home because I've only gotten to enjoy the kale. "How has deleting all your social media accounts helped your mental health?" I feel like I had a good mental health relationship with Instagram. I don't think I got a lot of joy. It wasn't giving me a lot of joy in my life. I wasn't relying on it for that. I think what it has done is made me really intentional with what I consume from what I'm reading or the internet. And I've become more intentional with what I am choosing to fill my day with. And sometimes it's a bunch of silliness, but, you know, at least that's intentional silliness. "Which Avenger do you talk to/hang out with the most?" Hmm. I guess Aaron Taylor Johnson. Surprise. [LAUGHS] And that's it. [MUSIC PLAYING]
